Mission Research has signed Consulting Within Reach to serve as a consultant for users of the software company's flagship product, GiftWorks.  GiftWorks provides nonprofits with an affordable solution to manage donor information.  The agreement gives us special access to Mission Research's client referrals, consultant training and technical support, products, and discounts which we can pass on to our clients.

We believe GiftWorks provides an important option for small to mid-sized nonprofits. Up until now, such organizations that needed to upgrade beyond in-house solutions like Excel spreadsheets had to contemplate making a big jump to high end packages like Raiser's Edge which cost thousands of dollars.  While our team posesses years of experience to support such excellent high-end packages for larger nonprofits, we have recognized that a more affordable (and less sophisticated) choice is also needed for many of our smaller sized clients.  We are convinced that Giftworks, with a starting price of $299 per user, fills that niche nicely.

Mission Research will rely on CWR as one of its providers of customized setup, training, and local technical support for its Bay Area customers.  Moreover, since donor database software is but one element of an effective fundrasing operation, we believe our full roster of services in areas like marketing, finance, and web development can maximize the impact of GiftWorks.

In the short period since the agreement was reached, we have already received several referrals and one contracted project.  We look forward to the future of this strategic partnership.
